Mitra is newly the VP, Talent Management at Zelis. More recently she was the Executive Director of Global Talent at Allergan where she focused on driving talent, culture and attracting the best talent. She had been at Allergan for about 3 years responsible for Inclusion Initiatives, Driving Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Review & Succession Planning and Talent Acquisition in the US.
Prior to joining Allergan, Mitra worked in the metal/manufacturing industry and the beauty industry, always with a focus on driving colleague growth and development. In her roles, she worked to better align people processes and strategy on a global scale by implementing new ways of managing performance, introducing Talent Review and Succession Planning programs, and developing career frameworks and competencies.
Mitra has her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida and MBA from Rutgers University.
Sheila Avari is a trusted strategic communications advisor to C-suite leaders. She is a journalist by trade and a storyteller at heart, distilling complex information and delivering creative, clear communications campaigns that help people understand and act.
Throughout her 20+ years of experience, she developed HR expertise and in 2007, launched Fusion Consulting Group, a boutique communications agency specializing in change, talent and inclusion & diversity. Sheila advises HR and business leaders at some of the most respected companies including in luxury consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, manufacturing and education.
Most recently, she launched @TheBestAdvice.Ever, a growing global Instagram community connecting people through advice during one of the most challenging times in our history.
Previously, Sheila was a HR communications consultant with Buck, supporting the U.S. Northeast practice. In that role she created and implemented strategic communication and change campaigns for clients across the HR and total rewards spectrum, including wellness, benefits and talent management.
Prior to Buck, Sheila was a senior financial writer for leading Canadian B2B publications and developed expertise in insurance and business management issues. She won several national awards for her work.
Sheila received her Bachelor’s in Journalism from Ryerson University, Toronto and her Strategic Global HR Certification from Cornell University.
Outside of work, Sheila is a clutch shortstop for her softball team and coaches her daughters’ travel softball teams. In 2020, she made a bold move and took on golf. She usually has a combination of Pearl Jam and CBC Radio playing in the background.
Soni K Basi, Ph.D. is a strategic and passionate Global Human Resources (GHR) executive guiding the creation of cutting-edge talent programs.
With a track record of delivering digital first initiatives, and 20+ years of experience, Soni has worked with some of the world's most notable companies in Luxury and Consumer Goods, Financial Services, and Pharma. She has been featured in Chief Learning Officer and American Healthcare Leader magazines, and is a Top 100 Chief Learning Officer. She speaks frequently at conferences and publishes as an Influencer on LinkedIn.
Soni is currently the Global Head of Talent for AIG (Global Insurance, $50B), leading a global team to renew the 100-year old company’s focus on it’s people and to become the destination for financial and insurance services talent.
Most recently, Soni was the head of Global Talent at Allergan (Global Pharma, $16B). Leading a global team, Soni was instrumental in shaping the strategic end-to-end Global Talent agenda for the business. She created innovative, cutting-edge programs that attracted candidates to join & motivated employees to deliver strong performance.
Prior to Allergan, Soni was the VP, Global Learning & Talent Development at The Estée Lauder Companies (NYC, Luxury Retail, $15B). She successfully built the first Global Talent programs across 30 brands and 40,000 employees. Among her many successes, she partnered with the CEO to introduce a pivotal annual ‘People’ month that significantly amplified the focus on talent. During her time at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals (NJ) Soni was responsible for building a corporate university, delivering executive programs for the CEO, and played a critical role in two significant M&As.
She serves on three Boards. The Advisory Board for Jobs for America's Graduates New Jersey (JAG NJ), the nation’s largest dropout prevention and recovery program, serving young adults ages 12-24. On Cielo’s Client Advisory Board; Cielo is one of the world’s top Recruitment Process Outsourcing firms. Soni also serves on the Advisory Board for Bullseye Engagement, a leading provider of cloud-based human capital management software solutions.
Soni received her Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University in Social Psychology, with a Minor in Quantitative Psychology.
Soni has a gorgeous 11-year old son, Armaan, who brings joy and wonder to her life.
Loredana Cromarty is a government affairs/public affairs executive with demonstrated experience advancing policies and business goals of Fortune 500 corporations and non-profit organizations.
Loredana is head of US State Policy and Government Affairs at Organon, a global women’s healthcare company. Prior to Organon, Loredana was associate vice president at Allergan plc, a global biopharmaceutical company, where she led its US national state government affairs. Loredana was also founder and principal of L&P Strategies, a government relations and public affairs firm, where she represented Fortune 500 clients and project management firms and conducted public policy research for a blue- ribbon commission.
Prior to her corporate experience, she served as executive director of the Christine Todd Whitman Excellence in Public Service Series, a governmental and political leadership training program for women. From 1994 to 2002, Loredana was chief of staff and legislative director for then-NJ State Senator Leonard Lance, who subsequently represented District 7 in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is a visiting associate at the Eagleton Institute of Politics and has served on the faculties for programs at Eagleton's Center for American Women and Politics: NEW Leadership™ and Ready to Run® and serves on the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Public and Global Affairs Advisory Board.
An advocate for the rights of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, Loredana is frequently invited as a guest speaker at symposia on hearing loss, including at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Hunterdon Medical Center, and serves as a consultant for families with hearing impaired children. She is a member of the board of the Summit Speech School, which provides children who are deaf or hard of hearing with educational and therapeutic support services.
A native of Italy, Loredana holds a master's degree in governmental administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government and earned a dual degree in political science and French from Drew University.
Ed has over 20+ years of experience working for global companies, mainly in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry, in the areas of finance, strategic planning, accounting / auditing and risk management. In his current role at Johnson & Johnson (J&J), he reports to the Chief Financial Officer and the Audit Committee Chairman of the Board of Directors and is responsible for all audit and investigation activities globally.
Prior to joining J&J in 2019, he was SVP, Chief Audit Executive at Allergan, where he was also the Chief Financial Officer of the Allergan Foundation. The Allergan Foundation is a U.S. based, private charitable foundation committed to making a Bold, positive, and lasting impact in the communities in which Allergan employees work and live. The Allergan Foundation is particularly focused on supporting programs that improve the health and well being of our communities, including better patient diagnosis, treatment, care and quality of life, especially for those patients who are most in need.
Prior to joining Allergan in 2015, Ed worked for Becton Dickinson, a leading global medical technology company, as the Vice President / CFO Greater China region based in Shanghai, China where he was the lead executive responsible for financial management of all commercial and manufacturing operations for BD Segments and Business Units within the region.
Ed has a B.S. degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. He holds several professional certifications and has attended various executive leadership programs over his career.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling, eating delicious foods and playing golf.

Dr. Mary-Clare Race is the Chief Innovation and Product Officer at LHH with responsibility for the quality of the LHH solution. Mary-Clare and her team of designers, psychologists, consultants and creatives are passionate about helping individuals and organizations get more out of the career journey and are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to solve our client’s challenges.
Dr. Race has over 15 years’ experience in human capital consulting including Career Transition, Leadership & Management development, Coaching, Diversity and Inclusion and Organizational Design. Prior to joining LHH she was President of Mind Gym Inc. where she led the North American business through a period of high growth. She is a regular conference speaker and has published scientific papers in leading journals including Frontiers in Psychology, Mental Illness at Work, and People & Strategy, alongside industry publications such as People Management and The Financial Times.
Over the past 15 years, she has consulted to a range of clients in financial services (Barclays Bank of England, Goldman Sachs); pharma (GSK, Allergan,Novartis); consumer goods (Unilever, Coca-Cola); luxury brands (Coach, Versace, Estee Lauder Companies); and government (British Government, Cabinet Office, National Health Service).
Eric recently joined Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc as its Vice President, Global Head of Total Rewards. Previously, he served as Vice President, Rewards at Allergan plc where he focused on designing and implementing total rewards programs that drove sustainable growth, enhanced employee engagement, and created shareholder alignment.
From 2007 to 2014, Eric held positions in both the human resources and legal departments at Merck & Co., Inc. (formerly, Schering-Plough Corp). Prior to that, Eric served as an external advisor to companies in all areas of compensation and benefits as a lawyer at Pepper Hamilton and as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte.
Eric received a B.A. from University of Arizona and J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
Dr. Sandra Glover-Strothers is currently the Executive Director of Jobs for America’s Graduates New Jersey at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a national program dedicated to preparing students for college and careers. Her professional career includes serving as an Education Program Development Specialist at the New Jersey Department of Education for 16 years for Burlington County, and Education Specialist/Assistant Director of Secondary Education Programs for the Division of Abbott Implementation, where she managed the Abbott Division’s Secondary Education Initiative for urban school districts from 2004-2008.
Prior to joining the department, Sandra directed Literacy Serve and Learn, a literacy service-learning program with the Toledo Public Schools and Bowling Green State University in Ohio for pre-service teachers and Toledo elementary schools. Dr. Strothers’ professional career extends over 20 years and includes senior-level leadership in higher education management as Executive Assistant to the President for Multicultural and Community Affairs at Ferris State University, organizational development and strategic planning, college instruction for pre-service teachers, multicultural education instruction, diversity training, tutoring and academic enrichment for elementary school children grades 3-8, service learning, research in urban education, and educational policy development and program implementation both in K-12 and higher education settings. Dr. Strothers is also co-owner of the DHE Initiative, LLC, an educational consulting company.
Sandra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University, and holds a Doctorate in Educational Theory and Social Foundations with a minor in Sociology from the University of Toledo. Dr. Strothers is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., South Jersey Alumnae Chapter, Co-Chair of the Arts & Letters Committee, President of the Lawnside Education Foundation, Inc., and has been married to Marc H. Strothers for 19 years.
Wayne Swanton has over 30 years of experience steering complex organizations to greater heights of performance and shareholder value. Engaged leader and business strategist with deep operational awareness, supply chain expertise and a clear vision for the future, with experience leading growth planning, M&A and restructuring, with a passion for continuous improvement and developing talent.
Wayne is currently President Prestige Beauty & Health at KDC/One, a $2B leader in custom manufacturing for beauty , personal care and homecare brands. Previously he was Executive Vice President Global Operations, at Allergan Inc, a $16B pharmaceutical business, where he led the end to end Supply Chain for 5 years. Wayne, a UK native also had many leadership roles in Europe, US and Puerto Rico, across finance, manufacturing and supply chain functions, with Abbott Laboratories a global healthcare leader.
Wayne has served on Executive Committees at both KDC/One and Allergan, including previously being on the Board of Directors of both National Association of Manufacturers and Lesideng Soup Kitchen.
Wayne is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, UK and lives in NJ with his wife Jessica, and enjoys the outside with 3 dogs, playing golf, and shares a love of wine.
